I read something in last week's Economist about product placements which inspired me to pen down (type out, rather) some thoughts about piracy. Check it out here.
The 'gejala-gejala buruk dari kebudayaan Barat' which we learn about in school are mostly proliferated through television shows and movies and these are predominantly American.
The skater dudes hanging out at KLCC are a prime example of how Western media has affected our lives. Why anyone would want to wear a beanie in super hot Malaysia is beyond me.
